In case you missed it this week, Google set a 2029 deadline for post-quantum cryptography migration for all of their products. Does that mean quantum will be here by then? Probably not, but they are forcing all of their products to have to be post-quantum ready by then. Are any blockchains currently quantum resistant? No, but everyone seems to be working on it. Bitcoin is the slowest moving ship and will honestly be the scariest if they don’t get their shit together. For Bitcoin, a fundamental issue they face is property rights. If Satoshi is dead and can’t access their tokens, do they hard fork away, soft fork, lock them up, etc? It’s a lot messier and really pushes hard against Bitcoin OG’s core beliefs.
The fear and greed index is hanging at 9 according to Alternative.me, but hanging closer to 21 on Coin Market Cap. It’s not much of a shock. CNN puts the stock market fear at 10. It's kind of challenging to forecast anything in the middle of a war meant to last a few days that’s going on 30. If you are in crypto and this is your first cycle, it feels pretty crappy and like we will never recover. If you’ve been around through a few cycles, it’s just boring, but expected. All things considered, it hasn’t been too bad or more extreme than others…yet. If you’re still here, just DCA into conviction tokens.

We've rebounded a tiny bit since I made this on Sunday, but not much

Jupiter Global users can earn instant USDC cashback on all transactions.
JUICED loops are ripping on Jupiter Lend (USDC/USDT). If you don’t mind looping, it’s up to 15.78% APY, nearly 3.5x the rate of just holding your JUICED. Both are pegged vaults, so the liquidation risk is minimal.
They also made it so now you can see inline charts for any tickers, and swap for on Jupiter. Pretty cool. As Ariana Grande would say, “I see it, I like it, I want it. I got it”

Did you use Rain fi last year? They were acquired by Jupiter (upcoming Jupiter Offerbook), but their airdrop checker is live and instead of getting a random rain fi token, it’s for $JUICED Check at - https://app.rain.fi/checker

Rumors floating that Coinbase isn’t backing the latest version, banks are still whinny bitches and the fighting continues. But, Senator Lummis says the CLARITY Act revisions are finalized, offering robust protections for DeFi developers and addressing stablecoin yield hurdles. The latest version could be dropping this week. The banks are fighting about something they let slip by in the GENIUS Act and I wished they’d focus on CLARITY and leave the yield as its own issue to fight about separately. That’s not how Washington works, but it would be nice.
Bounce, a new game on Solana Mobile came out this week from the creators of Saga Monkes. The amount of creativity from Saga Monke holders always amazes me. I stink at the game, but it’s still got me addicted. In the first 3 days, they saw 250+ hours of Bouncing across 60,000+ individual games.

For the first time ever, the amount of unique developers on Solana passed Ethereum! And…hold up…Polkadot is 3rd? This is really exciting to see

Anyone who’s used a block explorer on Solana knows the pain. Orb was a maybe upgrade from Solscan, but it looks like Mert is ripping again with Lana Ai. It’s invite only at the moment. He says block explorers will be dead by EOY (fingers crossed). Before: click on static spreadsheet tables endlessly Soon: talk to the chain in english. Ask specifically for what you want. Generate visuals live.
Here’s come Ethereum doing what should have been done years ago. The Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ), is a framework for synchronously composable rollups, aka based roll ups....which there aren't any yet, right?
What does that mean? One deployment. Shared liquidity. Single transactions across L1 & L2. Identity verified anywhere. Smart wallets connected everywhere. No additional trust assumptions.
This means L2s that are as credibly neutral, economically aligned, and publicly governed as the base layer itself
Orca is evolving and has now added Vaults powered by Kamino.

Phoenix Trade has launched into beta and have been dropping some referral codes this week on their X account (@PhoenixTrade). Although I’m not a big perps person myself, I do hope Solana finally gets some options that are more robust and offer more options than Drift or Jupiter.
Sanctum released their new app to the Solana Mobile Dapp store. I know I had a referral code that people used (thanks!). I downloaded the app and tried to send funds to the account it made me create vs importing or connecting a wallet I had or even my Solana Mobile Wallet which was a real bummer, so I didn’t bother. I don’t need another random account tied to an app. Let me connect one I have and use your app.

Umbra Wallet, which uses Arcium for privacy, has their app in beta mode via test flight on iOS. If you took part in the Fuse wallet test flight, it’s similar. If you want to check it out, you need to download test flight from the apple app store first and then can grab Umbra at Testflight link: http://testflight.apple.com/join/u2kgrvp7 (both links are at this link)
Anza introduced Constellation: a multiple concurrent proposers protocol for Solana. With proposers operating on a 50ms cycle, Constellation would give Solana the fastest protocol enforced economic tick rate of any blockchain. Constellation plans to replace today’s single-leader monopoly with multiple concurrent proposers, enabling censorship resistance and in-protocol rules for predictable transaction ordering.
